What aspects of essay coaching do you find challenging?
I don’t feel that I am a good writer, so how can I help others with their writing.
What do you hope to gain from participating here?
I want to learn how to be a better writing coach. I want to learn how to ask those probing questions to help kids get started on their essays.
What do you think you can offer other professionals?
I have 39 years of experience working with teenagers, so I know how they “work”. I absolutely love teens.
What else would you like us to know about you?
I am transitioning from working in a school setting to being an IEC. I have a small number of kids that I am working with, which suits me fine as I am also going back and forth from my home in Florida to my mother’s home in Oregon, trading off with my sister to take care of her.
